To make sure the computers and the collage network are protected during the game's tournament I have created two information guides that can be used to help secure the network

Virus can corrupt your computer files and get rid of or corrupt potential data. It could get rid of everything you ever worked on and properly will never get it back.

There is a way to make sure that your computer doesn’t get a virus. That’s by getting anti-virus software to protect your system.

Sometimes a virus can be disguised to look like a stupid advert.

Now I know what you’re probably thinking. “Why would I need anti-virus software?” well, without it, your computer will be vulnerable to many virus attacks.  For example a Trojan horse can look like something friendly or helpful but in actuality it could destroy everything in your computer and you could lose all of your data, all because you couldn’t get a simple anti-virus software.

There is a variety of anti-virus software. So, you’ll need a simple one to help you. I think something like Avast Free Antivirus.

It is important to update your systems because if not, then you won’t get the latest ant virus software, you be able to use the cool new ones, it will be outdated and without the updates whatever device you have will be prone to a lot of virus attacks.

A fire wall is a protective service that stops anything to attack something that has a fire wall.

They exist to stop any unauthorised access to anyone’s system.
Firewalls often have network address functionality, and the hosts protected behind a firewall commonly have addresses in the "private address range", as defined in. Firewalls often have such functionality to hide the true address of protected hosts. Originally, the NAT function was developed to address the limited number of IPv4 routable addresses that could be used or assigned to companies or individuals as well as reduce both the amount and therefore cost of obtaining enough public addresses for every computer in an organization.
